"I did write a good review for this agency a few years ago. I even received a call from Judy their office manager thanking us for our business (that was a couple of years ago) which I appreciated being a long standing customer . Since then something has been wrong within State Farm's management to be among the leading insurances to deny claims. Our roof was denied of being repaired after a storm by their adjustor. NOTE DATE OF LOSS FEBRUARY 2024!!!!!! It was like pulling teeth to work through getting a fair appraisal of the awning damage (state farm gave us a ridiculous estimate). I kept sending them estimates from local awning manufacturers showing they were way off on their estimate for repair. I sent numerous messages, & spoke with numerous people at this office but I was the one following through so why have an agent? Finally, after speaking with an excellent adjustor, Michelle Lilly, who apologized for the delay and response from home office, State Farm finally upped their estimate & issued us a check to have the awnings repaired. Had it not been for this adjustor, this wouldn't have happened. I submitted copies of our paid bills so that Gary could forward to the home office so we could close out the file and receive our depreciation check for work completed. Well they dropped the ball again. Now when I called about my email and scanned receipts for completed work(November 20th) the copies couldn't be located in Gary's email. (he was at a conference) So their new agent Luis asked me resend to him and he'd call me back. After not hearing from him I called to find out he was on vacation? I'm all for vacation time but can't someone get back to the customer to let them know the status? Thanks for the follow through. I'm tired of fighting on this claim. I will change insurances after January, homeowners and 3 auto's. A claim since February? Way too long, lack of follow through, I guess they don't care if someone switches insurances, where's that call from Judy now?"
